In Akita City, from the perspective of preventing the onset and severity of influenza, there is a subsidy for a portion of the influenza vaccination costs for children and pregnant women.
Eligible individuals are those who meet one of the following criteria and are registered residents of Akita City as of the date of vaccination:
Those who are 6 months or older and under 13 years of age at the time of their first vaccination.
• Pregnant women (as a general rule, must possess a maternal and child health handbook)
Subsidy Period (Vaccination Period): October 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025 (Vaccinations at our clinic are scheduled until December 28 as of September 6)
Grant amount/frequency: ¥1,000 per session
