Partial Subsidy for Influenza Vaccinations for Children and Pregnant Women
👶 Eligible Recipients
At the time of vaccination, individuals must be registered residents of Akita City and meet one of the following criteria:
- ¥1,000 per dose
- Children aged 6 months to under 13 years at the time of their first dose
- Pregnant women, preferably with a Maternal and Child Health Handbook
📅 Subsidy Period
October 1, 2025 (Wednesday) to February 28, 2026 (Saturday)
Please note: Our clinic will offer vaccinations from October 1 to December 27, 2025.

🔀For vaccinations received October 1–16, 2025 (Reimbursement method)
Please pay the full vaccination fee at the clinic first. Then, apply for the subsidy through Akita City’s online application system.

🔀For vaccinations received on or after October 17, 2025 (Direct subsidy method) - Vaccinations are available at medical institutions contracted with Akita City.
- As in previous years, submit the application form to the clinic in advance.
The clinic will process the subsidy claim on your behalf.No additional procedures are required afterward. - Please fill out the proxy authorization form using a non-erasable pen. Applications with corrected amounts cannot be accepted. If you make a mistake, please fill out a new form.

📝 Please Fill Out the Application Form in Advance
From October 1 onward, application forms are available at our reception desk.
To reduce congestion in the clinic, please complete the form before your visit and bring it with you on the day of vaccination. - 📋Request to Complete the Pre-Visit Questionnaire
• To help reduce waiting time at the clinic,we kindly ask that you complete the pre-visit questionnaire (internal link) in advance,except for the “body temperature” field, which will be measured upon arrival. Please print the completed form and bring it with you on the day of your visit.
If printing is difficult, the same form is available at the reception desk and can be filled out after you arrive. - 💴 Subsidy Amount and Dosing
- Children aged 6 months to under 13 years are eligible for two doses, totaling ¥2,000 in subsidies
- Pregnant women are eligible for one subsidized dose
🏥 For Residents Outside Akita City
• People living outside Akita City can also receive the influenza vaccine at our clinic.
• You can apply for reimbursement through your local municipality. Please contact us for details.
